8th May 2009
Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength:
Surf / Sea State: mess
Air Temperature: 14
Sea Temperature: 10
Weather: sun and cloud
Max Speed: 28.1 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 30.7 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Arrived around 4:30 to see about 6 on the water. Rigged 7m which was about right. Sea was very messy; guess sandbanks are shifting and getting shallow at low tide. After about an hour wind had picked up and changed down to 6m and was well powered. Changed fin down and that decreased bouncing off chop. It was a first when Mark S turned up and the wind INCREASED instead of disappearing altogether. Sea was mostly a mess with chop coming fom all directions. Hope it's better next time. If not for sea would have been more stars. Nice treat to sail during the week.
Got 26.4 knots on X-cite and 7m, and 28.1 on smaller board and 6m which I think was last run in when I hit a flatter patch/
